A new furnace, air conditioner or heat pump is a big purchase, and it often arrives when the old one fails, not when it's convenient. A few things make it easier to plan for.
Start with a free quote, before it fails
Quotes on new and replacement equipment are free. If your system is aging, getting a quote before it breaks lets you compare options and budget, rather than deciding in a hurry on a cold night.
Compare more than one option
Most systems come in tiers: a solid standard system, and higher-efficiency, quieter or more comfortable options above it. Ask to see more than one, so you can weigh the price against what each adds.
Look for rebates
Manufacturers like Carrier run seasonal rebates, and utilities and state programs sometimes offer incentives too. See our post on rebates and incentives for what's available.
Short-term payment plans
We don't work with finance companies, but we do offer short-term payment plans. They're arranged case by case, so ask us about one when you get your quote, before the work begins.
Make the new one last
Regular maintenance keeps a new system running efficiently and helps it last. See what a maintenance visit covers.
