Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Outside those hours, after-hours emergency service is available. Here's how it works.
Call, don't email
For an emergency, call 805-965-6326. Emails and website messages are read during business hours, so a phone call is the only way to reach our on-call technician at night or on a weekend.
What happens when you call
- Your call is answered, and you'll be asked what's wrong and whether it can wait until we open.
- If it's an emergency, leave your name, the best number to reach you, the address, and what's happening.
- Our on-call technician is paged and calls you back. Keep your phone nearby. If you miss the call, call the same number again, and you'll be connected to the technician handling your call.
Calls are recorded, and you'll be told so on the line.
What counts as an emergency
- No heat in cold weather, especially with young children, older family members or anyone unwell at home
- No cooling during a heat wave for someone vulnerable to heat
- A walk-in cooler, freezer or other refrigeration failing with food or medication at risk
- Water leaking from equipment and causing damage
If you smell gas, leave first
If you smell gas, don't use switches or appliances: get everyone outside and call your gas company or 911 from outside. Then call us.
What it costs
Work outside business hours is billed at 1.5 times our hourly rate, and on holidays at 2 times. A flat $10 truck charge is added to each invoice, and there's no other dispatch fee. See the FAQ and our Terms for the details.
